Background: Obi-wan was taken into the Jedi Temple on Coruscant as a very young child where he was trained as a youngling in the ways of the Force by Jedi Masters like Yoda and Mace Windu. At the age twelve, he still hadn't been chosen for training as a Jedi Padawan by any Jedi Master who came to the Temple in search of an apprentice. He had hoped that Qui-gon Jinn might choose him as an apprentice as he was reaching the age of thirteen. Thirteen is the age when he would be too old to be an apprentice and be sent off to be a farmer in far off planet. Ultimately Qui-gon did not choose him as an apprentice, saying it was because of Obi-wan's lack of control over is anger when it also had to do with his failure with his previous Padawan Xanatos who fell to the dark side years before. Obi-wan was placed on a ship to the planet Bandomeer that he was assigned to be a farmer on, only to find that Qui-gon had been booked on the same flight to aid in a dispute between two mining companies. It was likely that Master Yoda, seeing that the two were meant to be master and apprentice made sure they would be aboard the same ship heading to the same place. Ultimately Qui-gon does agree to take Obi-wan as his Padawan when there seems to be a connection between them that he can't deny and its clear his objections to taking him as an apprentices were simply due to his own fears, not the boy's merit.

Personality: Obi-wan may act as though he is far older than he truly is and being a Jedi Apprentice that comes with the territory. But he is still very much a child and prone to moments of immaturity and anger. He is still trying to become the Jedi ideal, calm and letting the force guide him, but is still learning and tempted by the Dark Side of the Force very frequently due to his youth. He is very eager to please Qui-gon, but doesn't always accomplish it. He was a teenage boy, but through his training and life in the Jedi council, love or crushes are very much beyond him. Although he is still very much capable of having such feelings, although he'd never act on it.

Physical Description: Obi-wan is thirteen years old, with dirty blonde hair and blue-gray eyes. While he is a young teenager, he is incredibly in shape and has the athletic build to show it, as much of his young life has been dedicated to Jedi Training. He is usually to be found wearing his Jedi robes and sporting a small Padawan braid behind his ear that he started growing as soon as Qui-gon accepted him as an apprentice.
